5.6/10

My stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Cambridge had its highs and lows. While the location was fantastic and the beds were incredibly comfortable, I found the service lacking in attentiveness, particularly during breakfast. The dining experience in the bistro also didn't quite meet expectations, with slow service and food that could have been better executed.

Rooms
6.0
The room was newly decorated and had unique features, but I found it small and not as accessible as I had hoped. Despite the comfortable bed, I struggled with the bathroom setup.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly, but there were moments of inattentiveness that left me disappointed. Particularly, I found the front desk often unstaffed and my requests for assistance not fully addressed.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location was great for exploring Cambridge, making it easy for me to reach local attractions without hassle.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was underwhelming, with a bistro menu that lacked the execution I anticipated. I ended up having to order takeout instead, which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
While the amenities were decent, I found some aspects lacking, such as the inadequate response to requests for basic items like face cloths during my stay.

The hotel is perfectly situated just minutes from the city center, making it easy to explore Cambridge. Plus, I appreciated the advice to use the park and ride at Trumpington, as parking in the area can be quite tricky.

While my breakfast in the bistro was delicious and offered a variety of options, I was disappointed to have to eat in a less atmospheric room due to the refurbishment. I would have loved a better dining location during my stay.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Cambridge. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to nearby attractions, and my room was beautifully decorated with high-quality toiletries. However, I faced significant issues with the dining experience, including poorly prepared dishes and slow service that left a negative impression. Overall, while the accommodations were satisfying, the bistro's performance was disappointing.

My stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Cambridge was a mix of highs and lows. On the upside, the food quality, especially breakfast, was really good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, I found the lack of onsite parking to be a hassle, and my room was quite noisy from the street outside, which affected my overall comfort.

My stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro in Cambridge was mostly enjoyable with some standout moments, but I faced a few hiccups along the way. The hotel itself has a charming design with some quirky features, and I really appreciated the attentive staff during check-in and at breakfast. However, the dining experience in the bistro was a bit slow, and there were moments when service felt clunky. Overall, I had a great time, but there's room for improvement in certain areas.

Rooms

Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, particularly during check-in and breakfast. I did encounter some communication barriers with a few staff members, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
